Jay Christy is responsible for directing global operations and overseeing daily activities at Triple Canopy. A certified security professional, Jay brings a combination of program management, business development and military experience to the position. He previously served as senior vice president of operations and held the position of vice president of protective services at the company. Prior to moving to company headquarters in Virginia, Jay was stationed in Baghdad, Iraq as country manager. Other Triple Canopy assignments included working as the director of business development in Asia and as program manager in Iraq and Haiti.
Before joining Triple Canopy, Jay worked on security-related projects with DynCorp in Kabul, Afghanistan and Kellogg, Brown & Root in Tbilisi, Georgia. He was also employed by Bechtel Nevada and Springfield Armory in the United States.
During his 20-year military career, Jay served with the U.S. Army Rangers and the U.S. Special Operations Command. After nine years of enlisted service, Jay received a commission as an Army Lieutenant and served as an Army aviator and a member of the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit. During his career, Jay served at various U.S. posts and in both the European and Asian theaters.
Jay earned a master’s degree in educational technology and a bachelor’s degree in resource management from Troy State University. He has also received professional certifications from Project Management Institute (PMI) and ASIS.
