Roger A. Young Appointed President of Triple Canopy

Global Security Solutions Company Strengthens Leadership Team


Herndon, VA — January 05, 2006 — Triple Canopy, Inc. today announced that Roger A. Young is taking on the responsibilities of company President.

Young will report to CEO Lee Van Arsdale and will be responsible for integrating requirements and managing day-to-day operations across all organizations. He will oversee business development, marketing, operations, human resources and finance. For the past 15 months, Young served as Triple Canopy's Chief Financial Officer building the company's critical processes, financial strength and infrastructure while competitively positioning the company for growth.

According to Mr. Van Arsdale, "Roger brings more than 30 years of organizational and financial management expertise to this critical position. His contributions as CFO have enhanced Triple Canopy's value as an integrated security solutions provider. In his new role as President, he will work towards diversifying the company's solution offerings and enhancing market share."

Before joining Triple Canopy, Mr. Young was the senior vice president of operations for a $300 million business unit of MAXIMUS Inc. He also was co-founder and chief operating officer of iBrite, Inc., a company that developed software for handheld computers such as Palm and Microsoft PocketPC devices.

Previously, Mr. Young was the CFO for the $3.2 billion TRW Systems Integration and Technology Group, now Northrop Grumman. This newly formed group was created as a result of TRW's acquisition of BDM International. Mr. Young was a member of the BDM senior management team, which grew its revenues from $80 million to over $1 billion during his 17-year tenure and went public on NASDAQ. His experience in the federal marketplace began as a contracting officer for the Naval Air Systems Command.

Mr. Young earned a bachelor's degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and has a master's degree in business administration from George Washington University.
